Lord God be with MLA Flor Marcelino, Lord God I pray that you would help and guide her to know your Truths. I pray that she would serve with honesty and integrity, that she would have Your Agenda and not hers, whether or not she is aware of it. I pray that she would stand on truth and justice and that would not just “go with the flow” for popularity, but that you would give her the courage and strength to stand on what is right...Amen.

Born in the Philippines, Flor and her family moved to Winnipeg in 1982 and have called Manitoba home ever since. In 2007, she became the first woman of colour ever elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly, and the first woman of colour to be appointed to cabinet in 2009. She was re-elected MLA for Logan in 2011 and 2016.
