MLA Andrew Smith, Southdale

Dear Lord, we bring before you, your servant and our MLA for the Winnipeg Southdale riding,  Andrew Smith.    We pray that you provide him wisdom and discernment as he leads his district.  Give him a boldness to stand up for truth and righteousness and provide him the wisdom he needs to help deal with the many challenges that we face in this province. We pray for his wife and young family that you would also lead and guide them in the important role they play for Andrew's success.  May Andrew always be aware of  your strength and insight, and when difficult decisions need to be made, may he always seek you for comfort and discernment.  In Jesus name.  Amen

Andrew Smith was elected to his first term as MLA for Southdale on April 19, 2016. On August 17, 2017, he was appointed as the Legislative Assistant to the Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage. Andrew was born and raised in Winnipeg and, in his early years, was an active member of Manitoba’s sporting community as an amateur wrestler and weightlifter.
