MLA James Teitsma, Radisson


I lift up James Teitsma to you Lord.  I pray that you sustain him will all he needs as husband, father and MLA of Radisson.  I pray Lord that he would show Your glory through his conduct while in government. 
James Teitsma is a lifelong Manitoban who has lived and been an active community member in the Radisson constituency for over 20 years. James is the youngest of six children and grew up in the family home across the street from the CN Transcona Shops. He and his wife Joanne have been married for 19 years and are the proud parents of 5 children and share in their family’s love of sports including hockey, basketball and cycling.

MLA Andrew Swan, Minto


Dear Lord we bring before you Andrew Swan.   A long service MLA who has long and deep roots in the West End. We thank you that a passion to help the less fortunate and downtrodden who have been helped through programs that he has helped to legislate. We thank you for the the love he has for our provinces young people and we pray that you would provide him wisdom as he seeks to improve the lives and living conditions of our provinces needy. We pray for his wife and their two children.  Protect them, give them health and safety and when difficult decisions are required in his role, may he find comfort in seeking your will and wisdom.

Andrew Swan is the Member of the Legislative Assembly for the West End Winnipeg constituency of Minto. First elected in a by-election in 2004, he was re-elected in 2007, 2011 and 2016. An experienced lawyer, Andrew served as the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of Manitoba for five years. On September 21, 2017 Andrew became Whip of the Official Opposition, Critic for Health and Active Living and Critic for Military and Veterans Affairs.

Hon Heather Stefanson, Tuxedo


Dear Lord, Help Heather to lead and govern with integrity. Be her defender and protector, and keep her always on guard. Lord, I pray and believe that each and every day you will give Heather a great boldness so that she will open her mouth and speak boldly and courageously with wisdom.In Jesus name. Amen 

Heather Stefanson was elected as the MLA for Tuxedo in 2000 and re-elected in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2016. In 2016, Stefanson was appointed minister of justice and attorney general, Keeper of the Great Seal of the Province of Manitoba, and deputy premier. She is now minister of families and retains her role of deputy premier. An investment advisor, Stefanson earned her bachelor of arts from the University of Western Ontario before completing her financial education at the Canadian Securities Institute. She also worked as an advisor in the offices of the prime minister, the federal minister of agriculture and the provincial minister of education. She and her husband Jason have two children.
