MLA Rob Altemeyer, Wolseley

We agree together today in prayer on behalf of MLA Rob Alteymer. We pray for his role in the city of Winnipeg and the community of Wolseley as MLA. We thank you, Lord, that you have placed leaders in place in this country to plan, protect and govern.  We pray that you would direct his steps and give divine guidance to every thought, idea and decision. May your angels of Mercy and protection be round and about him in Jesus name. Amen

Rob was first elected in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007, 2011 and 2016.  Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rob’s extensive involvement in social justice and environmental causes began while attending university. He completed a Master’s Degree in Natural Resource Management at the University of Manitoba, where he played a key role in bringing recycling programs to the university and was its first Waste Prevention Coordinator. Rob also co-founded the Global Change Game, an internationally recognized educational workshop now distributed through OXFAM.
At the legislature, Rob has served as Assistant Deputy Speaker and Legislative Assistant for both Housing and Community Development and Conservation and Water Stewardship.
