Lord, we ask for great wisdom as the Hon
Eileen Clark, MLA for Agassiz, serves as the Minister for Indigenous and
Municipal Relations. Bless her husband and her adult children and we ask
that You would serve as the third strand in her marriage. Draw them
together as she serves in this demanding role. Thank You for her heart
for community. May You keep her in good health as she seeks to serve the
province of Manitoba well with her gifts and talents.
Eileen Clarke was elected as the MLA for Agassiz in 2016. She was appointed minister of Indigenous and municipal relations in 2016, and now is minister of Indigenous and northern relations. An entrepreneur and municipal politician, Clarke was an active member of the local Chamber of Commerce for more than 35 years before serving for eight years as the mayor of Gladstone and as the Association of Manitoba Municipalities' vice-president in 2010. She and her husband Bob have two children and are proud grandparents.
