Hon Ralph Eichler, Lakeside

Dear Lord, We come together in prayer today on behalf of MLA Ralph Eichler. We ask Lord that you would grant him a deep wisdom and understanding of the next steps that need to be made. We thank you that you have placed someone in government who has a  deep passion for the consistency of Lakeside. We pray that you would set a deep passion in his heart for the rural economy, infrastructure and give him the throughway to be able to provide answers and areas of tax relief for Manitoba families. We thank you for men like Ralph and ask that your Grace and Abundance would surround his life. Bless him today we Pray in Jesus Name. Amen

Ralph Eichler was first elected as the MLA for Lakeside in 2003. He was re-elected in 2007, 2011, and 2016. On May 3, 2016, he was sworn in as Manitoba’s Minister of Agriculture. Ralph is the former owner and operator of Prairie Farm and Ranch Supply, and currently owns Ray’s Auction Service.Ralph and his wife Gail have two sons, a daughter and son-in-law, and three grandchildren.

Hon Myrna Driedger, Charleswood

Father, we come before Your throne asking for Your grace and mercy to fall upon Honourable Myrna Dreidger. Grant her Your wisdom, Your discernment and Your heart of compassion. Place Godly people in her path who will mentor her; who will grow her towards a faith journey in You!! We pray that your hand of mercy would give her great and divine direction. Give her health, strength, wisdom, and grace as she deals with a variety of scenarios from day to day.  In Jesus name. Amen

Myrna was elected Speaker of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba on May 16, 2016. She  has held a number of diverse critic roles in the past including that of Interim Leader of the PC Party of Manitoba, Deputy Leader, Critic for Health, Status of Women,  Finance, Civil Service & Crown Corporations Council, Child & Family Services, and Education.  During her first year  she was the Legislative Assistant to the Minister of Health. She has been a member of the Public Accounts Committee and  the Standing Committees of WCB & Children’s Advocate.   Myrna and her husband, Hal live in Charleswood.  She enjoys the company of friends, gardening, reading, photography, horseback riding, and the occasional round of golf.
