Lord, we ask You to bless MLA Rob Altemeyer. Bless his family with health and wholeness and may they be aware of Your presence in their lives. We pray that You Almighty God would protect him. We pray He uses his time wisely, show him where to spend his time. We pray he wins favor and a good name with all the people of Manitoba. In Christ our Lord. Amen.
Rob was first elected in 2003 and was re-elected in 2007, 2011 and 2016. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rob’s extensive involvement in social justice and environmental causes began while attending university. He completed a Master’s Degree in Natural Resource Management at the University of Manitoba, where he played a key role in bringing recycling programs to the university and was its first Waste Prevention Coordinator. Rob also co-founded the Global Change Game, an internationally recognized educational workshop now distributed through OXFAM.
