Lord, we ask You to bless MLA Jim Maloway.Give him Your grace, favour, ideas, insight and energy so that even his smallest tasks will go smoothly.  May he be a blessing in all things he does and with people he interacts with.  When there are moments that he feels burned out infuse him with the light of the Holy Spirit. In your all-powerful name, we pray. 

Jim Maloway has represented the people of Elmwood both as MLA and Member of Parliament every year since 1986, when he was first elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly.

MLA Tom Lindsey, Flin Flon

Lord, we thank You for MLA Tom Lindsey. Thank You for his heart to see working people kept safe and in good health, as well as provided a fair wage for their labour.  Give him wisdom and the ability to see labour in manitoba from both sides of the equation - employer and employee. Keep him in good health and bless his wife and family.  Protect his marriage as he serves the province of Manitoba.

First elected in 2016, Tom has over 40 years of experience in Flin Flon’s mining industry and has been a lifelong labour activist.Tom was a volunteer with Safe Workers of Tomorrow and a member of the Flin Flon and District Labour Coordinating Committee, the Steelworkers Northern Area Council and the Steelworkers District 3 Committee.He was also a member of the Minister’s Standing Committee for the Review of The Operation of Mines Regulation for over 20 years. Tom and his wife Sharon enjoy camping, kayaking and golf.

MLA Amanda Lathlin, The Pas

Today we agree together for MLA Amanda Lathlin, we ask Father that you would lead, guide and protect her. We ask O God that your Holy Spirit would hover about her as she walks daily throughout her constituency. We pray that she would seek your face when it comes to making important decisions in the area you have placed her in for such a time as this. We pray today for Northern Manitoba and Pas where Amanda is serving. We pray Lord that Your hand of Mercy is upon this area and we ask that You would continue to move and your hand of grace would be extended. We Pray Lord as Amanda is the earthly voice that Your words would be proclaimed from her lips. We ask that Your hand of protection be with her and her family as she serves in this capacity. Thank you Lord, for your Wisdom, Grace and everlasting Love. Amen

 When Amanda was elected MLA for The Pas constituency in 2015, she was re-elected in 2016.  Amanda used to work as a Representative Workforce Coordinator at the University College of the North (UCN) and was directly involved in creating the kind of educational and career opportunities in northern communities that help families thrive.

MLA Cindy Lamoureux, Burrows

Dear Lord, we pray for MLA Cindy Lamoureux as she serves in her
role in the Manitoba Legislature. Thank you for her desire to see change and improvements for the people she serves in her constituency as well as the province as a whole. Bless her work in justice and immigration as well as the work she has done to advocate for seniors in our province. Continue to fill her with compassion and understanding as she becomes the voice for those in need. We pray blessing on her family and all those who support her in this role of serving her community and province. May favor and grace be upon her, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

She has work experience with the Senate of Canada, The Long Term Care Association of Manitoba(LTCAM) and for a Federal Minister.
