God we agree
together today on behalf of our Northern communities and we ask Lord that your
hand of guidance be upon MLA Amanda Lathlin. As the the first, First nations
Woman elected as an MLA we ask Lord that you would empower her and help her to
influence the lives of those around her. Deep rooted in this community she is
fully aware of changes that need to occur. We ask God that you Lead and direct
Amanda, guide her in area of educational changes and innovative ways to uplift
the lives of those next to each day. Grant her wisdom and Grace today.

In April of 2015, Amanda became the first First Nations woman to be elected to the Manitoba Legislature. Amanda is following in her father's footsteps, who served four terms as the MLA for The Pas.
