Father, we agree together today in prayer and uplift the name of Hon Jon Gerrard.
We pray for his role in the city of Winnipeg and the community of River Heights
as MLA. We thank you, Lord, that you have placed leaders in place in this
country to plan, protect, and govern. We pray that your hand of mercy
& grace be upon this man, we pray that you would direct his steps and give divine guidance
to every thought, idea, and decision. We pray for protection and that your
peace would be upon him and his family. In Jesus Name. Amen
Dr Jon Gerrard is the elected Member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba for the riding of River Heights. He has held the seat for River Heights since being elected initially in 1999. From 1993 to 1997, Dr Gerrard was secretary of state for the Chrétien government. He was the leader of the Manitoba Liberal Party from 1998 until 2013.
