MLA Jim Maloway, Elmwood


Father, we thank you for Jim MLA Maloway, we agree together today in prayer and ask  Lord that you would lead and guide our brother as works in this position. We pray Lord that he would seek your face for a better understanding of deeper issues that are involved with this position. We pray Lord that he would surround himself with like-minded people that can lend a helping hand. We pray for his family and that you would keep them safe and give them peace, health, and strength.  In your precious name Amen

Jim Maloway has represented the people of Elmwood both as MLA and Member of Parliament every year since 1986, when he was first elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly.

MLA Tom Lindsey, Flin Flon

Father today we agree together in prayer for MLA Tom Lindsey. We ask Lord that you would rule and reign over every decision that he makes. We ask Lord that you would place a hedge of protection around his family.  We call upon you Lord to give him a deep understanding of his position and as he goes about his daily duties and that you would go before him and that he would seek your guidance. In Jesus Name we pray Amen.

First elected in 2016, Tom has over 40 years of experience in Flin Flon’s mining industry and has been a lifelong labour activist.Tom was a volunteer with Safe Workers of Tomorrow and a member of the Flin Flon and District Labour Coordinating Committee, the Steelworkers Northern Area Council and the Steelworkers District 3 Committee.He was also a member of the Minister’s Standing Committee for the Review of The Operation of Mines Regulation for over 20 years. Tom and his wife Sharon enjoy camping, kayaking and golf.

MLA Amanda Lathlin, The Pas


Father We thank you and give you praise for our Province. We thank you, Lord, that you have raised up women to serve you on all levels of Government. We ask Lord that you would be her continuous guidance and strength. We ask Lord that your hedge of protection be around and about her. We ask for Health and Strength to her bones, Bless her family and give her a peace that passes all understanding. In Jesus name, Amen

When Amanda was elected MLA for The Pas constituency in 2015, she was re-elected in 2016.  Amanda used to work as a Representative Workforce Coordinator at the University College of the North (UCN) and was directly involved in creating the kind of educational and career opportunities in northern communities that help families thrive.
