MLA Bernadette Smith, Point Douglas


Dear Lord and heavenly King we bring before you MLA Bernadette Smith. Be her comforter when she feels overwhelmed.May she feel encouraged as she serves the people of her community and province.May she find the time to be revitalized and refreshed by her relationships with family and friends. May Your purpose and will prevail. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Bernadette is the co-founder of both the Manitoba Coalition of Families of Missing and Murdered Women in Manitoba (CFMMWM) and the Drag the Red Initiative, and, what’s more, annually organizes the No Stone Unturned Concert for Missing and Murdered in Manitoba. Bernadette’s sister, Claudette Osborne, has been missing from Winnipeg since 2008.

MLA Andrew Smith, Southdale


Lord, we ask that You would bless MLA Andrew Smith as he seeks to serve the constituency of Southdale in the province of Manitoba well.  Give him ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying and give him a willing heart to listen to his constituents and the ability to translate their concerns and suggestions into real solutions.  Draw him close to You so that he may perceive Your love for him.  Bless him!

Andrew Smith was elected to his first term as MLA for Southdale on April 19, 2016. On August 17, 2017, he was appointed as the Legislative Assistant to the Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage. Andrew was born and raised in Winnipeg and, in his early years, was an active member of Manitoba’s sporting community as an amateur wrestler and weightlifter.

Hon Ron Schuler, St. Paul


Lord Today we bring before you Hon Ron Schuler who is currently serving as Minister of Infrastructure and MLA for St Paul. We pray today God that you would bless him as he serves our city and province in this area of planning. We pray Lord that you would surround him with like-minded people and may his ideas be rich and abundant. I pray for his family that you would surround them with your love and protection. In Jesus name. Amen

Ron Schuler was elected as the MLA for St. Paul in 1999 and re-elected in 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2016. Since 2016, Schuler served as minister of Crown services. He is now minister of infrastructure. Schuler is a graduate of the University of Manitoba with a degree in international relations and has served as a trustee with the River East School Division. An entrepreneur, former small-business owner and community volunteer, he has devoted his time to organizations like Big Brothers, Citizens on Patrol, Max Reinhardt Theatre Canada and the Manitoba Inter-cultural Council. He has three children and lives in St. Paul.
