MLA Nic Curry, Kildonan

Father,  today we lift up MLA Nic Curry to you in prayer and petition. We ask Lord as he leads and serves the constituency of Kildonan that You would give him a great love and passion for his community. We pray that he would lead with great integrity and wisdom. We ask Lord that you would put a hedge of protection around him. Give him strength as he addresses the need for stronger education systems, shorter wait times in our health care system and putting money back into the pockets of our families. We ask Lord that you would empower him and grant him good health. Amen.

Nic Curry was elected to his first term as the MLA for Kildonan on April 19, 2016. Born and raised in Winnipeg. Nic married Ellen Gervino and along with their daughter Sophia, they make their home in the Garden City area.

Hon Cliff Cullen, Spruce Woods

Lord God I pray that you grant wisdom to Honourable Cliff Cullen as he walks in his role of the Minister of Crown Services.  I pray Holy Spirit that you would guide him in all avenues of the Crown Services.  I pray Lord God that he would desire to do what is right regardless of cost to him and his political career.  I pray that he would be a man of integrity and honour.  Pray Lord God that you would be with him as he fulfills his role also as House Leader.  I pray for wisdom and knowledge, for truth and justice, pray that the he would fight for what is right for all Manitoba, not just for this generation but for the generations yet to come.  Pray for his riding of Spruce Woods that would would grant him wisdom in meeting the needs of the people in his riding.  Pray for protection over him, his wife and their three sons.  And I ask Lord that you would do far more abundantly than all we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, Eph 3:20, so that You would be glorified. 

He was first elected MLA for Turtle Mountain in 2004 and re-elect in 2007. In 2011, he was elected in the new constituency of Spruce Woods and re-elected in 2016.On May 3, 2016, he was named Minister of the new department of Growth, Enterprise and Trade. On August 17, 2017, he was named Minister of Crown Services and Government House Leader.

Hon Cathy Cox, River East

Lord, surround Hon. Cathy Cox. Thank you for being her defender and protector, and keeping her always on guard. Bless her family with good health and give her direction in all her endeavors. May You ensure that even in the midst of her busy schedule that she and her family will always find time to be together. In Jesus name, Amen

Cathy Cox was elected as the MLA for River East in 2016 and in 2017 was appointed the Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage. Cathy and her husband, Herb, live in River East where they raised three sons and now have two grandchildren.

Hon Eileen Clarke, Agassiz

MLA Hon Eileen Clarke -  Father, we thank You for MLA Hon Eileen Clarke!  We thank You for the wife, mother and grandmother she is, first and foremost.  Thank You for her years of running a successful business and functioning as Mayor of her community of Gladstone for many years before running for MLA.  We ask that You would grant her great wisdom and revelation as she fulfills her duties as Minister of Indigenous and Municipal Relations.  Give her great love for the people that she is advocating for.  Bless her as she balances home and government life!

Eileen Clarke was elected as the new MLA for Agassiz on April 19, 2016. In addition to her duties as MLA, she was appointed by the Premier to serve as Minister of Indigenous and Municipal Relations. Eileen has called Gladstone home her entire life. She and her husband Bob raised two wonderful children and are now proud grandparents.
