60 Days of Prayer - Guide Our Governmental Authorities

Dear Heavenly Father, we ask you Holy Spirit to guide our governmental authorities, we ask that you give them wisdom in pursuing justice.  We ask that their judgment will be in love and mercy, and we pray for them to walk humbly with you day in and day out.  We pray their minds would not be swayed by other pursuits, but rather what pursuits you would like them to follow. Amen

60 Days of Prayer - May They Pursue Justice

Heavenly Father, today we pray for the MLAs and the upcoming election.  We pray for all who run in this election, we pray Micah 6:8.  That they would use good judgment, pursue justice, love, mercy and walk humbly with God.  We pray that the party elected would establish rules and laws that honor Gods law and strengthen families and cities as in Duet. 10:13 and one that would make choices based upon the fear of God, not the fear of man.

60 Days of Prayer - Courage to Stand

God, we pray for our MLA's, for the courage to stand on their beliefs, morals, and listen to their constituents.  The Bible says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” And we pray that you would give them the strength they need.  We pray that they would stand steadfast, and that they would uphold the values of Canada, and what Canada stands for. We pray that they would be strengthened in their identity as sons and daughters of God. We pray thanks for our MLA.s, they have a tough job, and we thank God that they took on that responsibility.

60 Days of Prayer - Blessed with Wisdom

We pray that the governmental authorities will be blessed with the wisdom to discern between right and wrong. That they would walk in integrity by keeping their promises and fulfilling their commitments. That they would hate evil, pride, and injustice.  We pray that they will be hard workers for the people and be an example in their rules and responsibilities.

60 Days of Prayer

What if there was a way to mobilize people all across Manitoba to pray with focus for 60 days about the future of our province?

What could happen?

What might God do in response to our prayers?

How might He answer and what kind of future could we shape for our province ....

Simply because we prayed?

We're About to Find Out!!

Starting on March 2nd, Leading Influence is launching a 60 Days of Prayer Campaign through our prayer ministry www.praymb.com

We invite you to 'Join the Movement' and participate in our cyber prayer gathering!  Each day we will send out a tweet (@praymb), email and Facebook update that will serve as a prayer focus for that day.  We're inviting you to pray and share our focused prayer with your networks over these next 60 days.

MLA: Brian Pallister - Fort Whyte

Father we are thankful for MLA Brian Pallister and work he does for MB. God we pray that you would bless him with peace and a spirit of calm. We pray that you would strengthen him and bless him and his family through his work. And we pray that you would continue guide and bless him as goes on with his duties. Amen.
Brian and his wife Esther live in southwest Winnipeg with their two daughters. Brian became Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba in July 2012 and in September of that year, he was elected to represent the constituency of Fort Whyte.

Entering politics in 1992 as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba, Brian served as a cabinet minister in the Government of Gary Filmon until 1997.

In 1997, he moved to federal politics and was re-elected three times. He was appointed as chair of the House of Commons Finance Committee in 2005, and in 2007 was appointed parliamentary secretary to the Ministers of International Trade and International Cooperation.

While in public office, Brian championed legislation to protect the rights of women on First Nation reserves, public safety initiatives and tough legislation to protect taxpayers against government overspending and overtaxing.

In 2008, after several terms as a provincial MLA, Cabinet Minister and federal Member of Parliament, Brian took a pause from elected office to focus on his family, business and community interests. Today, he is eager to work hard as Leader of Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition and to meet with and engage Manitobans in building a stronger Manitoba.
